Fluitec Wind, a world leader in providing data-driven condition monitoring services, has signed an agreement with a leading European Offshore Wind Farm.
Without any new investment in capital equipment Fluitec will provide an analytics platform that gives their client a predictive and interactive lens into the health of each wind turbine generator and its major components resulting in improved operational and better financial performance.
According to Mike Borden, Fluitec Wind’s Vice President of Wind Business Development : “Fluitec’s Analytics Platform is a proven strategy to lower maintenance costs. Ultimately, the cost savings from this program will be reflected in lower energy costs for our client’s end use customers.”
The Fluitec Wind solution leverages the new strengths of data science and cloud computing on the wind power industry where almost every turbine is networked to produce prolific amounts of operational and diagnostic data. This project will immediately be added to Fluitec’s database of more than 5000 wind turbines worldwide.
