A seminar on overall dynamics of offshore wind turbines will be held on October 24, 2013 at 17 hrs in Bremerhaven, and the speaker will be Dr. Holger Black from Fraunhofer IWES.
The seminar will provide the participants with basics of the overall system dynamics, ranging from the structure and functioning of wind turbines to consideration of the environmental conditions, and influence of the control and management.
The appropriate guidelines for system simulation, the simulation itself and the evaluation of the simulation results will also be discussed.
The seminar is intended for participants who need an introduction to the whole simulation system of (offshore) wind turbines. Basic scientific engineering knowledge is required, while specific wind power-knowledge is not required for the participation in the seminar.
