The 100th rotor blade in this year was loaded onto the Dutch ship Marietje Marsilla of the shipping company DanservanGent/Wagenborg at Buss Terminal Stade, Germany.
AREVA’s products manufactured in Stade, and successively delivered in 6 sets of blades, are designed for various wind farm projects in the German North Sea. The 56 meters long rotor blades are thereby brought via a purpose built dike crossing directly from the manufacturing plant to the port.
The loading is done with two cranes in tandem operation with Gerd Buss Stevedoring’s personnel, trained specially for the requirements of the offshore industry.

Stade Buss Terminal, the smallest of the Seaport Terminal Buss Port Logistics is designed as a multi-purpose handling system, and has proved its efficiency and quality of work through various successful loadings.
