Green Marine Solution (GMS), a provider of professional marine services and specialist support to the offshore wind industry, has received GBP 450,000 from Northstar Ventures’ Finance for Business North East Accelerator Fund.
“The funding received from Northstar is going to be used primarily to complete the ROAM development, and to build our team,” BDaily news site quotes Justin Moseley of GMS as saying.
GSM’s Real-time Offshore Asset Management (ROAM), a fully integrated tracking and monitoring system, has been specifically designed to improve safety and reduce costs. It enables efficient management of personnel, vessels and assets in real-time.
The system has already been adopted by Siemens who have installed ROAM at their Teesside Project in Hartlepool.
