Tidal Transit has won a long-term contract for its Ginny Louise, the first of a potential fleet of ten crew transfer vessels.
This is a second 18-month contract awarded by Scira Offshore Energy to Tidal Transit. The Ginny Louise will be working alongside her sister vessel Tia Elizabeth servicing the operation and maintenance needs of the 88 offshore wind turbines of the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm, which is located between 17-23 kms off the coast of North Norfolk.
Another vessel, Eden Rose, is working for Scira but on a short-term contract.
Tidal Transit Commercial Director Leo Hambro said:
“This is excellent news in a month when we have also announced that we have commissioned the construction of Tidal Transit’s fourth vessel.”
