Elia Asset NV is looking for a supplier of a high-voltage offshore substation for its Belgian Offshore Grid (BOG) project.
The work includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of the offshore substation. Also, the contract may incorporate the operation, maintenance and repair of these infrastructures.
The high-voltage substation (which may or may not have a modular structure) will be built on an artificial island and have a service life of 30 years. It will have all of the equipment required to transmit electrical energy from the wind farm to land, as well as the telecommunications connections needed to secure the operation of the wind farm and island.
The substation will be connected to the shore, the Beta offshore high-voltage substation and various wind farms, via submarine power cables.
