Seajacks is getting closer to the finish line with the Meerwind offshore wind park turbine installation.
Wind turbine installation at the wind farm started this year in July by installation vessels Zaratan and Leviathan, and it is expected to be completed by February 2014.
The 288MW Meerwind offshore wind farm is located in the Exclusive Economic Zone region of the German North Sea. After completion, it will consist of a total of 80 Siemens 3.6MW wind turbines.

It should serve as a positive blueprint for future projects and demonstrates how costs can be reduced and delays minimised when an experienced contractor and the right equipment is selected to execute this work.”
