The U.S. tycoon Donald Trump believes that the court will overrule the decision by the Scottish Government to allow the development of offshore wind farm in Aberdeen Bay.
Namely, Vattenfall, Technip and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group plan to deploy eleven wind turbines which will, as Trump says, spoil the view for guests at his Menie golf resort.
Donald Trump Jr. and the Trump Organisation’s executive vice-president George Sorial will attend the judicial review at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
Sorial said for Bloomberg: “We have absolute confidence that the Scottish legal system will resolve this matter fairly.”
Donald Trump will not attend the judicial review which will be held over the next four days.
