MAKE – a leading strategic advisor to the wind power industry – expands its global footprint with the establishment of a Hamburg based branch office.

This office will be managed and led by MAKE’s newly appointed Managing Consultant – Jean Huby – former CEO of AREVA Wind and an accomplished expert in the field of offshore wind power, strategic planning and business development.

Over the years, MAKE has emphasized its commitment to providing the highest quality of research, intelligence and consulting by strategically locating in some of the most dynamic and important wind power markets globally. With offices in Denmark, the UK, the U.S. and China, MAKE has successfully developed strong first-hand sources and intelligence networks in European, American and Asian markets.

Widening the company’s global presence, MAKE will be opening a branch office in Germany. The office will primarily service the important offshore wind market in Europe with a key focus on Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, the Hamburg office will also promote MAKE’s recognized portfolio of wind power consulting services and research products.

The office will be managed by Jean Huby. Jean comes from a position as CEO for AREVA Wind. Prior to this, Jean was Senior Vice President, Strategy and M&A in AREVA. Jean has led the strategic planning of the AREVA Group and managed among other transactions the acquisition of AREVA Wind and AREVA Blades.

As CEO of AREVA Wind Jean led the company from a start-up business into a 1000+ FTE business with a solid pipeline of offshore wind projects in Germany, UK and France.

“I am thrilled to be joining MAKE and to further consolidate MAKE’s leading position as strategic advisors in offshore wind power leveraging on my past experience to create value for MAKE’s utility and supply chain clients in Europe,” says Jean Huby, Managing Consultant at MAKE.

MAKE’s Hamburg office will be opened during January 2014.
