More than 200 senior level wind industry executives – already comprised of operators, OEMs, ISPs and technology specialists – have begun to engage with one another in preparation for their arrival at the 6th International Onshore and Offshore Wind O&M Forum (27-28 January 2014).

Delegates are geared up to gain exclusive insight into the very latest industry O&M strategies which will maximise production and reduce unnecessary costs in wind farms they are associated with internationally.

In two separate streams, discussions on one side will focus on onshore turbine related issues and on the other will examine offshore specific topics. These include the very latest management structures, blade care, supply chain strategy, substructure maintenance, retrofit technology, advanced monitoring, life extension and logistics.

With the uncertainty that surrounds the continuation of various European subsidies, Utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) will now turn their attention to lower operational expenditure (OPEX) and ultimately drive profitability from the assets already in operation.

“Wind Energy Update is proud to be the primary source of exclusive, industry demanded information surrounding O&M” says Jon Harman, the Managing Director from Wind Energy Update. “As an organisation, we understand how to drive both a company’s growth and profits, and we will strive to provide the audience with the targeted material and individuals that they need to achieve them”.

E.ON Climate & Renewables, Axpo Power, EDP Renováveis, EnBW, ENERGIEKONTOR, Erg Renew, ESB, Juwi, Parkwind NV, Vattenfall are just a few of the wind industry companies who will meet next January to discuss, debate and appraise the latest O&M strategies to reduce costs, optimise efficiency, and improve overall ROI.
