DolWin Beta’s topside was placed onto the substructure yesterday .
The jacking up of DolWin Beta’s topsides started on December 5 . Drydocks World lifted the 10,000-tonne topside of the platform structure to a height of 52.8 metres from the dock bottom. On Saturday, the substructure was moved in position under the topside.
Aibel is designing and building the platform, whilst ABB has overall project responsibility and is supplying cables and the conversion equipment.
