Scottish Enterprise (SE) has approval for up to £2,400,000 funding to invest in Marine Energy Array Cabling Solution Development.

The Scottish Enterprise is calling for a competitive dialogue, where focus will be to produce practical solutions to the challenge of providing low-cost, safe and effective methods of locating, securing and protecting electrical array cables in Scottish sea conditions, and also to encourage the development of new supply chain capability and capacity in this market.

The project will utilise the SE Competitive Dialogue Procurement process and will be led by SE Procurement, sitting within the SE Marine Energy R&D Fund Programme.

Deadline for expressions of interest is January 27, 2014.
