On January 7, Xie Changjun, Member of Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Guodian Corporation inspected China Longyuan Power’s Nanri Island offshore wind power project in Putian, Fujian.
Fei Zhi, Vice President of China Longyuan Power accompanied the inspection.
Xie departed from Shicheng North Wharf by sea and conducted an on-the-spot inspection of the preliminary development and project preparation of the offshore wind power project. After that, he fully affirmed project progress. Xie said that offshore wind power is a strategic emerging industry encouraged by the State.
Nanri project is another stride towards the sea, following Jiangsu Rudong offshore wind power project of China Longyuan Power, so it is of great significance.
Xie asked China Longyuan Power to continuously give full play to its advantages and expand the Group’s competitive advantages in offshore wind power.
During the inspection, Xie also met with Weng Yuyao, Mayor of Putian Municipal People’s Government. The two sides had a discussion and reached a consensus on accelerating the cooperation in offshore wind power, promoting marine farm construction and building a long-term cooperative mechanism for new energy development.
