Royal Dutch Boskalis named multifunctional vessels, NDURANCE and NDEAVOR, during a ceremony on January 15 at the Keppel shipyard in Singapore, according to Offshore Ship Designers.
Both 99 meters long and 30 meters wide vessels are built at the Samsung C&T corporation – ZPMC – Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co.Ltd. Both vessels are multifunctional and are equipped with different equipment for different projects.
The NDURANCE is equipped with a large cable reel capable of handling up to 5000 tons of cable(s).
