In the last few days, Fugro secured two contracts to perform cable burial and survey operations at two wind farm sites in the UK.
Beside the recently announced contract for CT Offshore at RWE Innogy’s Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm off the North Wales coast, the company announced that it had won a second contract with a similar work-scope. The contract is signed for a wind farm located off the UK’s East coast.
The work for these projects, which will run consecutively, had already started in January and it is scheduled to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2014.
Fugro is mobilising one of its two Q1400 trenching spreads onto the vessel Fugro Saltire in order to execute the work program.
