AXYS Technologies Inc. (AXYS) has named Terry Tarle as the new President and CEO.
“This decision follows an extensive search for the right candidate who will not only fit the AXYS culture, but will also have the ability to lead the growth of the company to meet our strategic objectives,” said Dave Thomas, board member at AXYS. He continued by saying that Tarle was the best candidate for the job.
Terry Tarle is a former Aeroinfo Systems COO, responsible for Boeing maintenance technologies.
AXYS Technologies specializes in the design, manufacturing, distribution and maintenance of remote environmental data acquisition, processing and telemetry systems.
One of their systems is WindSentinel floating LiDAR. The latest deployment of the system was carried out by the U.S. Navy for measurement of wind energy potential in California. The system will measure wind speeds for six months, the process of which started in December last year.
