The workshop ‘From Big Whorls to Little Whorls: The impact of turbulence at tidal energy sites’ is sponsored by The Crown Estate and The Carbon Trust, and will run prior to RenewableUK Wave & Tidal Conference & Exhibition.
This workshop will aim to promote discussion for understanding turbulence: how it can be measured, its impact on energy resource assessment, engineering design, and design of tidal arrays. The event will be of particular interest to developers, design engineers, hydrodynamic scientists, and technology companies.
