The Institute for Integrated Product Development at the University of Bremen, SAERTEX and AREVA Blades have been recognized with the JEC Innovation Award for their research in wind energy category.
They will receive this award at the JEC Composites Show, the leading European exhibition for composites to be held in Paris next month.
Launched three years ago, the ”Mapretec“ research project, funded by German Federal Ministry of Environment and coordinated by the city of Jülich, aims to improve the production of wind turbines blades by automatization of the process.
