Gram & Juhl has announced the opening of a state-of-the art Diagnostic & Monitoring Service at the end of 2014.

With this new service, Denmark-based company will be offering the full Turbine Condition Monitoring package i.e. TCM® hardware, software, and installation services for both factory and retrofit installations along with 24/7 Diagnostic & Monitoring and Support & Maintenance.

Gram & Juhl’s CEO and Co-Owner, Axel Juhl says: “TCM® Monitoring is a service our customers have waited for years, and we are excited about unveiling the new service. We have close to 11,000 installations worldwide, and we are the market leader in the offshore market where almost 80 % percent of the world’s offshore turbines are equipped with TCM® systems.

“With TCM® Monitoring we feel that we will be a strong Turbine Condition Monitoring partner for any OEM or utility, etc. regarding future projects and retrofit projects. We anticipate heightened TCM® sales with the launch of the TCM® Monitoring service, and as a result, customers who are fully informed about the status of their turbines with optimized asset management as the outcome.”

Gram & Juhl is primarily known by the term TCM ® or Turbine Condition Monitoring. TCM ® provides operators with valuable information on the condition of each of the wind turbines. This information allows scheduling repairs and maintenance when it suits the operator, thereby helping to drive down the cost of energy.

Despite being a small company, its presence in the wind industry has not gone unnoticed. However, with its joint venture in China and a distributor partnership in the USA, Gram & Juhl is strengthening its ranks in becoming a global player in the wind market.
