Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH presented logistics and port services of the Lower Saxony seaports at the EWEA’s wind energy event in Barcelona, which took place from 10 to 13th of March.
This event focused both on onshore and offshore wind energy, thus providing an ideal opportunity for the commercialization of logistics services and structures in the Lower Saxony seaports that have adapted early for the specific requirements of the industry.
In addition to the classic port handling and storage services, companies in Lower Saxony offer complex logistics processes adding value to the product and the supply chain management.
“The wind industry is looking for customer-oriented and above all efficient logistics services that are implemented by reliable partners with experience in the handling of some very sensitive components of a wind turbine,” said Inke Onnen – Lubben, Managing Director of Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH.
