Dalby Offshore Limited has secured a long term charter to supply one of its 21m crew transfer vessels (CTVs) to Siemens Energy Service.

The 2013 built Dalby Trent will be working on the Lynn and Inner Dowsing wind farm, which is approximately 5km off the Lincolnshire coast, east of Skegness. Operating out of the port of Grimsby, the vessel will be carrying out crew and equipment transfers for Siemens supporting ongoing O&M requirements.

The Dalby Trent is one of six vessels vessel operating in the offshore renewables market. Dalby Offshore has already supplied vessel services to offshore wind sites in the UK, Netherlands and Sweden, and will be making significant investment this year in larger CTV vessels for both the renewable and oil and gas sectors. The next vessel is a 24 metre unit expected to be delivered mid year.
