AWATEA, New Zealand’s industry association for the development of the marine energy industry, will hold its 8th Annual Conference on marine energy on 8 May at the Royal Society of New Zealand Conference Centre in Wellington, New Zealand.
The Business of Developing Marine Energy conference will be devoted to a wide-ranging review of marine energy developments, both in New Zealand and overseas, and includes a popular networking reception followed by a dinner available to all registrants.
Green MP Gareth Hughes, who is focused on campaigning for clean energy and healthy oceans, will be opening the conference this year. Other confirmed speakers will be talking about resources, technology development, permitting and niche markets, amongst other topics.
