Marine Ecological Surveys Ltd (MESL) is currently undertaking environmental survey activities at the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Windfarm.

The survey will be conducted until 24th of April 2014, weather permitting, on behalf of Scira Offshore Energy Ltd.

Humber Guardian, a research vessel operated by Briggs Marine Contractors Ltd, has been hired for the job.

The 317MW Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm, located between 17 and 23 kilometres off the coast of North Norfolk in the UK, comprises 88 wind turbines.

It can generate enough clean energy to power almost 220,000 British homes.
