The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is an official partner of the third USA Science and Engineering Festival, taking place Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The festival is free and open to the public. The working hours are from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
BOEM will be exhibiting at booth 3537, in the Earth Sciences Pavilion where they will present their work on powering the future with ocean energy.
Fun hands-on activities related to environmental science, geology and offshore oil and gas resources, and offshore renewable energy are planned.
The USA Science & Engineering Festival is a national grassroots effort to advance STEM education (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
