The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), through its office of Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), is seeking a contractor who will carry out Wind Energy Inspection Procedure Assessment.
The DOI intends to competitively award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type of contract to one of potential offerors, who must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to receive Government awards. The period of performance of the resultant contract is expected to be six months from the date of award.
The selected contractor will compile existing international, national, state, and local inspection regulations pertaining to wind farms, both offshore and onshore, and use them to provide an assessment of best policies and best practices to the agency regarding potential approaches to offshore wind farm inspections, audits, and certifications on the Outer Continental Shelf.
