Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise are going to organise a series of workshops on behalf of Moray Offshore Wind Limited, a partnership between EDPR and Repsol, next week.
This is a great opportunity for companies with the potential to supply the offshore wind sector with the services it needs to meet directly with potential customers.
These events will be held in Aberdeen, Inverness and Wick over the course of three days, starting next Tuesday.
The workshops will feature:
A comprehensive overview from EDP Renewables on the offshore wind sector and in particular their MORL Offshore Wind Development Information on EDP Renewables contracting strategy and an introduction to their potential Tier 1 contractors An opportunity to see what support is available for when looking to enter the offshore wind market from Scottish Enterprise, HIE and other partner organisations.
Besides the workshop, tier 1 companies that will be available for one on one meeting are Samsung Heavy Industries, Global Energy, MHI/Vestas Joint Venture and EDPR.
