From September the 8th 2014 to December the 5th 2014 BZEE will run the first English language Service Technician for Wind Turbines course in Husum, Germany.
Course contents: – Fundamentals of wind energy technology – Work safety – First aid – Working at heights and rescue training – Wind turbine electronics, mechanics and hydraulics – Rotor blade inspection and repair – Practical instruction/work on real wind turbines – Theoretical and practical examination
Participant requirements: – Successful completion of an apprenticeship in the field of electrical engineering and/or mechanics or an equivalent qualification or work experience – Physical fitness – Medical examination for work where there is a risk of falling – Ability to work in a team
Qualification: – BZEE certificate Service Technician for Wind Turbines – BZEE/GWO certificate Working at Heights and Rescue Training – Further technical certificates
