To serve the growing number of wind farm customers in the region, Vissim establishes a new UK based entity, “Vissim Renewables”.
“This will strengthen our presence in the UK market in line with our growth strategy and will provide improved support for existing customers, including key players such as Greater Gabbard, Ormonde, Sheringham Shoal, London Array, QinetiC and others,” says Per Arne Henæs, CEO of Vissim.
Based in Norwich, Vissim Renewables provides a service and fulfilment centre at the heart of much of the UK offshore wind sector. In addition to local in-country services for VTMS and Offshore Profile, Vissim Renewables is the new global fulfilment centre for Vissim’s Personnel Tracking Unit business.
Vissim Renewables adds over thirty staff to the Vissim team, bringing deep networking experience and opening new product and service opportunities.
By establishing Vissim Renewables, Vissim will enhance its focus on the wind farm industry, in particular in the UK.
