On June 18, during the visit of Premier Li Keqiang to the UK, the third Sino-British energy dialogue conference was held in London.

It was hosted by the British Department for Energy and Climate Change, and Wu Xinxiong, the director of the National Energy Administration, and Edward David, the British Minister for Energy and Climate Change, made a speech respectively on behalf of China and the UK.

Li Enyi, the General Manager of China Longyuan Power, was invited to attend the meeting as the representative of Chinese new energy company.

At the sub-forum for new energy of the meeting, Mr. Li introduced the development of wind power of Longyuan Power and future prospect for the development of Chinese wind power. He said, Longyuan Power is the first company that engaged in the development of new energy in China and has taken the lead in the industry of Chinese wind power for a long time.

Currently, the company has a wind power capacity ranking the second in the world and initiatively opens up many new development areas of offshore, overseas, high altitude and low wind speed conditions. In future, China Longyuan Power will continue to follow the national energy strategy closely, seize the development direction of new energy in the world and make greater contribution for the development of the global low carbon economy. He introduced Wu Xinxiong to the development and operation of offshore wind power of Longyuan Power in detail. Mr. Wu recognized the achievements of the company in recent years and pointed out, as the leading company in the industry of Chinese wind power, China Longyuan Power should seize the good opportunity of issuing the electricity price of offshore wind power and make persistent efforts to develop offshore wind power, especially taking the opportunity of the Sino-British energy dialogue, learn from advanced experiences in technology and management of the UK, fully apply them to the development and operation of offshore wind power, and make greater contribution for the healthy and sustainable development of offshore wind power in China.

During the visit, organized by the National Energy Administration, Mr. Li visited the British Department for Energy and Climate Change, Council on Renewable Energy and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), learned about the current development, policies environment and investment and financing conditions of offshore wind power of the UK and thoroughly communicated with British counterparts concerning the development of offshore wind power project, thus expanding the thought for accelerating the development of offshore wind power.
