Coastal Marine Eyemouth Ltd., UK and TBS Yard AB, Sweden have signed a Licence and Co-operation Agreement under which Coastal Marine will build the new CarbCAT® 25 in the United Kingdom for UK and other customers.
The CarbCAT® 25 is a state-of-the-art wind farm support vessel built in carbon fibre for long life lightness combined with strength and exceptional fuel economy.
The venture is likely to expand to cover larger wind farm vessels and Coastal Marine may sub-contract some building work to its sister company, Mashfords, based in Cremyll on the River Plym.
