“Rem Ocean,” the IMR (Inspection Maintenance Repair) vessel is scheduled to arrive at the Sheringham Shoal wind farm to undertake some essential retrofit operations throughout the site on 9th July 2014.
Subject to weather condition, the arrival date may be delayed.
The vessel is expected to remain on the site for 4-6 weeks, but will regularly be transiting to and from Great Yarmouth for the collection of materials.
Located offshore Sheringham, the 317MW wind farm can power around 220,000 average UK homes.
Equally owned by Statoil and Statkraft, this wind farm, comprising 88 Siemens 3.6MW wind turbines, was inaugurated in September 2012.
