Currently two offshore platforms are protruding from the 426 x 89 m dimensioned dry dock No. 8 in Kiel-Gaarden.
With the lately finished sixth and last level the electric power substation for the offshore-windpark EnBW Baltic 2 can clearly be recognized from the other side of the Kiel Fjord.
While the yard has already fulfilled its building part here – the rest of the completion will be done by the building owner – the second, unique German offshore-project is also visibly taking forms: After the three huge blocks have been assembled in the meantime, the platform will stay in the dry dock for a short time and will then change to ADMK’s state-of-the-art blasting hall for painting works.
