Global Maritime Consultancy Ltd was awarded a deal for work on Dong Energy’s wind farms.
On behalf of Dong, the company will act as a Marine Warranty Surveyor for Gode wind farms.
A Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) provides independent third-party review and approval of high value and/or high risk marine construction and transportation projects, from the planning to the execution stages.
In August 2012, Dong Energy acquired three offshore wind development projects in Germany, Gode Wind 1, 2, and 3, from PNE Wind, and later decided to develop the first two projects .
Last month the utility company sold 50% ownership stake in the Gode Wind 2 project to a consortium of Danish pension funds made of PKA, Industriens Pension, Lærernes Pension and Lægernes Pensionskasse.
