Tomorrow, an educator from the University of Maine Advanced Structures and Composites Center will lead a children’s hands-on program “Build a Wind Platform.” The children will have a chance to learn to design, build, implement and test wind power technology components similar to those being used in
The children will have a chance to learn to design, build, implement and test wind power technology components similar to those being used in an extensive UMaine research program in deep water offshore wind power.
The program will be held at Penobscot Marine Museum, and it is free with museum admission.
