Scour protection work is due to recommence within the Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm on the 21st September until further notice. The work will be carried out by the vessel Tideway Rollingstone .
The rock dumping vessel Tideway Rollingstone will be commencing operations at various locations within and around the Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm from circa 21st September 2014 until further notice.
The offshore wind farm comprises 160 Siemens 3.6 megawatt (MW) turbines, two offshore substations, 161 inter-array cables, four export cables, an 11km onshore underground cable route and a new 132kV/400kV onshore substation near St Asaph in North Wales.
At the beginning of this month, half of the 160 turbines have been commissioned and started to generate electricity.
