FORCE Kicks Off Subsea Cabling Rehearsal (Gallery)

Canada’s test center for in-stream tidal energy technology FORCE has secured a power cable to a barge as part of its trials in the Minas Passage in Bay of Fundy, Canada. FORCE is performing a series of marine trials to support the deployment of up to four underwater power cables in the near future.

Canada’s test center for in-stream tidal energy technology FORCE has secured a power cable to a barge as part of its trials in the Minas Passage in Bay of Fundy, Canada.

FORCE is performing a series of marine trials to support the deployment of up to four underwater power cables in the near future. These cables are designed to connect tidal turbines to FORCE’s shore facility.
