Offshore Wind Services (OWS) today christened their second Damen vessel in less than 2 months.
In late August, they christened the Offshore Waddenzee , a Damen FCS 2008, and this evening the christening of Offshore Wielingen took place in Rotterdam, during a double celebration event being held by Workships Contractors BV, the sole mangers of OWS.

The second celebration is for Workships’ 25th anniversary of their foundation in 1989. The Offshore Wielingen will be the 11th vessel in their fleet of crew transfer vessels (CTVs). The company also manages the Offshore Beaver , a multipurpose / diving support vessel in their fleet.
Offshore Wielingen is a second generation Damen FCS 2610, build number 33 of the Damen FCS 2610 series of vessels.
