SmartBay Ireland recently exhibited at the Ocean Energy Europe 2014 conference in Paris. This is an annual conference which attracts an extensive network of ocean energy professionals and public representatives from key regions throughout Europe.
This year’s event incorporated presentations from key Ocean Energy policy makers including Maria Damanaki, European Commissioner for Maritime Affairs, Guenther Oettinger, European Commissioner for Energy and Alex White, Irish Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. There was a strong feeling of commitment from all European leaders and captains of industry to accelerating the development of ocean renewable energy.
Irish Energy Minister, Alex White announced that the 2015 Annual Ocean Energy Europe Conference in Dublin is signalling Ireland’s continued commitment to the Ocean Energy industry.
