Concluding an extensive two-week Permit Vision training, response on the Thialf has been overwhelmingly positive. The Heerema Thialf is an impressive deep-water construction vessel. It measures two full-size football fields in length by almost 90 meters wide, weighs in at over 136,000 tonnes, and accommodates more than 700 men. This multifunctional ship is used primarily for installation of offshore wind foundations, moorings, and integrated topsides, as well as pipelines and flowlines.
Permit Vision allows Heerema unprecedented oversight of work on the Thialf, while providing improved legislative and best-practice compliance, reduced risk, and increased safety.
