Delta Lloyd will continue to invest in its offshore wind insurance portfolio.

For that matter Delta Lloyd will further enhance its offshore wind energy team, in that a highly specialized team will stay in place, following the announcement that some wind energy specialists will leave the company.

Delta Lloyd is involved in the insurance of 26 offshore wind farms in Western Europe and ranks among the top 3 insurers in the European offshore wind energy market.

René Kruijs, Managing Director Commercial Lines at Delta Lloyd : “With our specialized know-how, Delta Lloyd has reached a unique position in the offshore wind energy market in a relatively short time frame. Our success has obviously come to light amongst other insurers. We regret that some of the offshore wind energy specialists will leave our team and we are grateful for all their efforts so far.

However, Delta Lloyd’s strategy within the offshore wind energy market remains unchanged. Our priority is a further reinforcement of the offshore wind energy team. This will guarantee the continuity of our specialised services in this field and will enable us to further expand our offshore wind portfolio in the near future.”
