IHC Hydrohammer, a business unit of the Dutch based Royal IHC, recently commissioned the S-1800 Hydrohammer with 5.5m Pile Guiding for the Chinese offshore wind market.
Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering, a joint venture between ZPMC and Longyuan, is using the S-1800 hydraulic piling hammer to drive flanged monopiles for the Longyuan Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Wind Farm into the seabed.
With a total of 36 flanged monopile foundations and 14 tripod foundations, supporting 4MW turbines, the Chinese offshore wind farm will deliver 200MW.
At this moment IHC Hydrohammer is manufacturing the S-2000 hydraulic piling hammer for Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering. The S-2000 will soon be the 4th piling hammer in the Chinese offshore wind market.
