Foundation construction is expected to start between March and May 2016. The monopile foundations are manufactured by Dutch Sif Group and installed by Seaway Heavy Lifting’s Oleg Strashnov. This is followed by turbine installation activities at the start of 2017, with the first electricity feeding to the national grid in the first half of 2017.

Upon completion Dudgeon could provide enough energy to power up to 410,000 households annually. Great Yarmouth will be the main base for both construction and OSM activities. Dudgeon will be located 32km off Cromer in North Norfolk, in an area covering 35km2 in water depths between 18 and 25m.
