Danish energy company, Dong Energy, will hold a civic reception at Denbighshire regarding its Burbo Bank Extension plan.
Today’s event will be hosted by Counter Context on behalf of Dong at Bodelwyddan Castle from 7-9pm.
Dong Energy plans to build 259MW wind farm west of the existing Burbo Bank offshore wind farm, approximately 7km north of Hoylake and Meols in the Wirral.
With up to 69 turbines, the wind farm will be able to meet the electricity needs of 170,000 homes.
The project is expected to create up to 135 direct full-time jobs and 55 full-time jobs in the local supply chain during construction.
