Turbine Transfers Ltd has reported healthy activity in the Crew Transfer Vessel market after winning new contracts and gaining extensions to existing deals from several major customers.
The Wales-based company will shortly be sending six CTVs to the Ijsselmeer to work on Siemen’s new Westermeerwind Wind Farm Project, the largest near-shore wind farm in the Netherlands.
In addition, Turbine Transfers, with partners Opus Marine, has also secured a 3 boat contract with Dong Energy for the O+M work at Borkum Riffgrund, which follows on from a 2 boat deal for the construction phase, and they have agreed a five year extension to a 2 boat contract with Trinity Exploration and Production in Trinidad, where the Turbine Transfer vessels have proved to be hugely successful in operating safely and reliably to the platforms in 3-4m seas.
The company has also been awarded four and six month extensions to the current 3 CTV contract with Dong Energy at Westernmost Rough, ongoing extensions to a 4 boat contract with E-On at Robin Rigg and six month extensions to the already extended three year contract for 2 vessels at London Array.
