Dong Energy has appointed Martin Barlebo to the position of head of communications in the company.
Barlebo, who previously worked for ALK Abello, Holm Kommunikation and Danish Agency for Trade and Industry, will assume his role on 2 March 2015.
“Martin Barlebo is a competent communicator and an experienced head of communications and I look forward to welcoming him to our team. Martin has substantial communication experience from a publicly listed company, as a long-standing advisor within corporate communications as well as from the central administration and he will have an important task in ensuring good communication and dialogue with the media and outside world,” said Jakob Askou Bøss, Vice President for Corporate Strategy & Stakeholder Relations.
Barlebo added: “The company plays a significant role for the Danish energy supply and is among the world’s leading companies when it comes to the transition to green energy, one of the key societal challenges of our time.”
