Drammen Yard has awarded a contract for fast delivery of 2pcs 10Te Vertical Tensioners to Sepro Technology Norway.
The 2 Electrical Tensioner is designed as standalone equipment handling offshore power cables.
“The tensioners are bound for a Drammen Yard New Build Carousel job in the renewable sector,” said Sepro spokesperson to OffshoreWIND in an email.
Drammen Yard added the cable tensioners will be used for cable carousels ranging from 2 to 4 tonnes.
Mr. Morten Nielsen, Group CEO said: “The group are delighted to be able to help one of our very good costumers urgent needs for fast delivery of equipment without compromising the quality, the order will contribute positively to the SEPRO Lay division 2nd quarter earnings.”
