Boa Bison, an offshore support vessel, has just completed her work at the Fecamp offshore wind farm.
During the installation of a met mast at the Fecamp offshore site, the vessel was in charge of the pre-lay of anchors for a gravity base structure and ROV work during submerging.
Supplementing the data collected since 2007 in technical and environmental studies, the met mast will seek to determine the speed and direction of wind, visibility conditions, wave height, water temperature, and other data relevant to the offshore wind development.
In addition, this structure will also serve to observe birds, marine mammals and bats moving within the perimeter of the future offshore wind farm.
