The partnership of 130 Renewables between Wind Energy Solutions, Tocardo Tidal Energy, Zon Energie and ESTechnologies develops a hybrid off-grid renewable energy system that delivers renewable energy to the local smart grid.
The overall system consists of generation from wind, flowing water and solar with energy storage in batteries.
130 Renewables is planning to set up an Off Grid Test Centre (OGTC) in the North of Holland, specifically on the ‘Afsluitdijk’, a major causeway near the town of Den Oever.
