Piriou has secured a new order for a wind farm support vessel, the WFSV 26w “Ocean Wind 8 of Hartlepool”.
Built by PIRIOU in Vietnam, “Ocean Wind 8 of Hartlepool” will be delivered to AIS (Marine) 2 Limited at the end of March 2015 in Europe to be operated in the North Sea.
The vessel is MCA category 1 and is certified by Bureau Veritas capable of carrying 12 passengers and 3 crew members.
According to the company’s website, Marine already operates six WFSVs.
