Automasjon og Data (A+D) is currently showcasing the new generation Vessel Motion Monitoring System (VMMS) at EWEA Offshore in Copenhagen.
The new generation VMMS are using a multi-sensor approach to measuring the vessel motion and the new AIMM inertial matrix sensor is used for this application. These systems are often used during critical phases of the operation.
The company has included report generator which will automatically gather information from vital systems onboard and combine these with data from the VMMS motion sensors as well as manual inputs in order to create a complete comprehensive daily report.
This can be manually or automatically sent to preselected recipients onshore or offshore in order to stay updated on the performance of this vessel.
